3-D X-Rays Provide Highly Detailed Images

At Main Street Radiology, we can work closely with your own dentist to make sure your next dental procedure is as successful as possible.

  • We use the most advanced dental scanning technology and sophisticated software available.

  • With our scans, dentists can accurately evaluate and create a treatment plan for many different procedures, including dental implants.

The Dental Scan Procedure

How Does It Work?

  • Our technology is known as three-dimensional computed tomography, or 3-D CT. It's a special type of X-ray that's used when a regular dental or facial X-ray isn't detailed enough. It produces three-dimensional images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan.
  • This simple procedure allows for images to be captured and displayed on a computer within five minutes. And compared to traditional X-rays, it reduces a patient's radiation exposure by up to 90%.
